FAQs

Got questions about how we work or what to expect? We've answered the most common ones here.

Do I need a referral to see you?

No referral is needed. Virginia allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can book your Discovery Call and start treatment without seeing a doctor first.

Do you take insurance?

We're out-of-network with all insurance carriers, which means you pay upfront and we provide a superbill you can submit for potential reimbursement. This model lets us spend quality one-on-one time with you instead of rushing through appointments.

How long are sessions and how many will I need?

Sessions are typically 45-60 minutes of focused, one-on-one care. The number of visits depends on your goals and injury, but most people see significant improvement within 4-8 sessions.

What should I wear to my first visit?

Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows us to see and assess the area you're concerned about. Shorts and a t-shirt work well for most evaluations.

Can you help me if I'm not currently injured?

Absolutely. Our Injury Prevention services are designed for active adults who want to stay ahead of problems, improve performance, and build resilience before issues pop up.
